Overview

Uploading marketing assets, such as banner ads, provides a simple way for ambassadors to promote your company and amplify your referral program. This feature is particularly helpful for influencers or affiliates that want to share their referral link on their website or blog.

How do ambassadors use assets?

Once logged into the portal, your ambassador can click on the “Assets” tab to access the assets you’ve uploaded. From there, your ambassador can copy the HTML snippet for the asset and embed it directly to his or her blog or website.

Each ambassador has a unique referral link that is included in the snippet making the marketing asset a clickable, trackable link.

What format should assets be?

When adding assets, you can upload jpg, png and gif files to Ambassador. You can utilize this chart as a reference for typical ad sizes. Please note, while PDF files are accepted, we do not recommend uploading them in the Assets section. If uploaded here, the snippet code to embed the file will still be visible to your ambassadors and no preview image will display. Instead, we suggest including these files in another area about your referral program, such as the New Ambassador welcome email.

How do I upload assets?

Follow these steps to begin uploading marketing assets to your campaign. Please note, the steps below are geared toward uploading campaign-specific assets. If you would like to upload assets that area available across all campaigns, we recommend uploading them here instead.

Step 1: In the navigation menu on the left, click "Campaigns."

Step 2: Once on this page, check the box next to your existing campaign and additional buttons will appear. Click the blue "Edit" button.

Step 3: Next, click the "Portal" tab.

Step 4: You'll see several options on this page. Click "Edit" next to "Upload Brand Assets."

Step 5: To add your assets, either drag and drop the file or click “Choose one to upload.”

Step 6: Once you’ve selected the file, a pop-up will appear that allows you to preview and name the image. When you’re done, click “Upload File” to save.

Step 7: To add additional assets, follow the same steps as above. Assets can be added or removed at any time.
