Trustpilot allows you to get great reviews by making it easy for customers to leave reviews. Companies use Trustpilot to establish credibility and improve their reputation. With the Ambassador Trustpilot integration, you can leverage the combined power of positive reviews and word-of-mouth referrals.

What does the Trustpilot integration do?

Connect your Trustpilot account to automatically enroll any verified customers that leave a 4- or 5-star review. Once enrolled, ambassadors will receive the New Ambassador welcome email with a unique referral link to start instantly sharing. 

How do I set up the Trustpilot integration?

Follow the steps below to integrate with Trustpilot. Please note, you will need to have a Trustpilot account in order to utilize this integration. Learn more and request a demo here.
Step 1: In the navigation menu on the left, click "Settings."

Step 2: Next, click the “Integrations” tab. You'll be taken here

Step 3: Once on this page, you’ll see the button to connect the Trustpilot integration.

After clicking "Connect," you'll be taken to the integration page.

Step 4: Before linking the integration, please go to the "Applications" page in your Trustpilot account and create a new application with a redirect URI of admin.getambassador.com.

Step 5: Once the application is created, copy the API Key and Secret. 

You'll enter these in the "Trustpilot Credentials" fields on the Trustpilot integration page in Ambassador along with your website domain under "Business Unit Name." 

Step 6: Click "Link Integration" and you will be redirected to Trustpilot to login and authorize. 

Following authorization, you'll be redirected back to Ambassador – the integration is now complete!

Please note, a Trustpilot segment will automatically be created for ambassadors that were enrolled based on a 4- or 5-star review. We recommend keeping this Trustpilot segment and assigning it to the appropriate campaign. This will allow you to have additional reporting insight on your ambassadors that were enrolled via the Trustpilot integration. If you do not wish to enroll ambassadors into a separate segment for further reporting insight, you can clear out the Trustpilot segment and utilize an existing one.  

Step 7: To ensure verified Trustpilot reviewers receive campaign access and the New Ambassador welcome email, please assign the "Trustpilot" Segment to the appropriate campaign.
