How do I enable Optimizely?
Before you get started, make sure you've done the following:
Signed up for and installed Optimizely on your site.
Installed the Ambassador snippet on your site. Please note, you can find instructions in this support article: Editor Overview
Step 1: In the navigation menu on the left, click "Settings."
Step 2: Next, click the “Integrations” tab. You'll be taken here.
Step 3: Once on this page, you’ll see the button to “Connect” the Optimizely integration.
Step 4: Under Optimizely, click "Connect" then enable the integration.
Step 5: When complete, click the blue "Save Changes" button.
The next time you're editing a Refer-a-Friend module, you can choose an Optimizely variation with which to associate the module. This will ensure the corresponding module will only be triggered and shown when the specified Optimizely variation is running on the given page.
By creating variations in Optimizely and associating them with Ambassador Refer-a-Friend modules, you can now see which modules result in the best engagement as well as deliver unique modules based on the visitor!
