Admin App

  • [Admin 1 & 2] New Support & Resources page
    The “Support & Resources” page is located in the bottom left-hand navigation menu of your Ambassador Admin account. There you’ll find helpful information such as your main point of contact and support details, along with quick links to our knowledge base, blog, Trust Center, and forms to submit a support case or enhancement.   • [Admin 1 & 2] New webhooks available for custom share codes
    Within Notifications, you can setup a webhook to trigger and notify your external system when a custom share_code is created or updated.

  • [Admin 1 & 2] New Currencies & Rewards for Denmark, Sweden, & Norway
    You can now create commissions and pay Tango rewards in the following currencies: Denmark (DEK), Sweden (SEK), and Norway (NOK).

  • [Admin 2] Navigation Change - “Loyalty” is now “Customer Advocacy”
    The Loyalty section and supporting content has been renamed as Customer Advocacy to help clarify that the features can more broadly support programs beyond a typical loyalty program.

  • [Admin 2] Setting a Campaign Live requires an Email Domain
    Now when setting a campaign live, you must have an email sending domain setup and validated. A valid email sending domain is critical to ensuring the emails sent from Ambassador to your program participants are delivered successfully.

  • [Admin 2] Tango Account Number Now Available
    You can now easily access your Tango Account Number (starts with an A) in your Admin 2 > Payment settings here.

  • [Admin 2] Set a sort order for Advocacy Tasks
    Now you can set a specific order of how you want your advocacy Tasks to appear in the Portal to participants of your program.

  • [Admin 2] New Email Automation for Engagement & Marketing
    With Ambassador as your communication co-pilot, you'll save time and resources using automations to send emails that grow your program enrollment and engage existing ambassadors to participate. Click here to learn more.

  • [Admin 2] Email templates for Advocacy have moved
    Email templates for your Advocacy program have moved to the “Emails” tab in the main menu. This is a small but mighty change as we move towards centralizing all email templates sent from an automation. This includes emails sent from Rule Builder and Workflows.

  • [Admin 2] Indian Rupee currency now supported
    You can now create commissions and issue rewards with the currency Indian Rupee (INR). Please note: You must either payout externally from Ambassador or issue Portal Rewards Cash that can be redeemed for Tango Gift Cards in your Portal Rewards Catalog.

  • [Admin 2] Referral email metrics moved to Referral Dashboard
    Referral email metrics were previously out of site. Now you can access them in the Referral Dashboard when you click the “Referral Email Metrics” button.

  • [Admin 2] Legacy Default Email Templates
    The legacy default email templates previously found in the “Emails” section have moved. These were no longer in-use except for a very limited use-case. If you still need access to the legacy email templates, you can access them in Admin 2 with this link or toggle over to Admin 1 (admin.getambassador.com).

  • [Admin 2] Improvements to Redemption Status Check for Tango Choice Rewards
    If you are rewarding referrals with Tango’s choice products, such as Reward Link, Promo Link, or Disbursement Link products, you can monitor the status of whether the recipient has redeemed that reward. From Admin 2, go to Referral > Commissions > History tab and look for the “Redemption Status” column.

  • [Admin 1 & 2] Tango Funding in USD, CAD, EUR, GBP Now Available
    You can fund your Tango account in USD, CAD, EUR, or GBP. If you’d like to change your funding currency, please contact support@getambassador.com or your CSM.

  • [Admin 1 & 2][Tango] Update to Tango bank details based on account currency
    Inside Payment Settings > Prepaid & Gift Cards, your Tango funding bank details are updated based on your account currency. Note: If you had a Tango account created prior to April 2025 your funding currency may still be in USD and require migration. Please consult your CSM or support@getambassador.com if you wish to fund in a different currency.

  • [Admin 2] New Cookie Consent Popup
    The Cookie Consent Banner integration is designed to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and provide a seamless way for customers to manage user consent on their websites.​

  • [Admin 1 & 2] Facebook Messenger and Android SMS now available as share channels
    You can now enable Facebook Messenger and Android SMS as a channels within your Refer-a-Friend (RAF) modules.

  • [Admin 1 & 2] Expanded Share and Click Tracking Capabilities
    We have made numerous improvements for tracking referral link share and click metrics, including but not limited to:

    • Source Attribution Table

      • Within the Referral Dashboard, we’ve combined Shares, Clicks, Referrals, and Revenue by Source into a single “Source Attribution” table.

    • Enhanced Source Tracking

      • Previously, iMessage and Email shares were tracked, but clicks were not. We’ve implemented new tracking parameters to begin attributing clicks to these sources.

      • Previously, QR Code shares/clicks were included in your overall stats but were not attributed as a specific referral source. We’ve implemented a new tracking parameter so that you can compare when ambassadors refer using their unique QR code vs. sharing their referral link through other sources.

      • “Other” & Reverse Share Attribution - Some share methods and privacy features can make it difficult to track the source of attribution for shares and clicks, so we’ve made the following updates to expand our reporting capabilities.

        • If the source of a share is unavailable, we will track the unique Click ID and reverse attribute the share to that source. An example of this use-case is when an ambassador copies their share link and pastes it online or in a message without using an integrated sharing channel.

        • If the source of of click is unavailable, it will be counted under “Other” in the “Source Attribution” table.

Portal App

  • [Portal 2] Login/password reset enhanced
    Enhancements to the login/password reset were made to the Portal 2 app to improve user experience, such as adding an icon to show/hide the password as it’s typed in.

  • [Portal 2] The Share Links table now includes a QR code for each share link
    If you have ambassadors with multiple share links, they can now access a QR code for each share link in their Portal account > Share Links table.

  • [Portal 2] Hide Points Available from Reward Redeem Page
    If you are running a program that issues referral cash credit that can be redeemed in the Portal Reward Catalog, we have improved the customization so that you can hide the Points Available from the page so that only Cash Available is visible.

  • [Salesforce] v.018 - New version of the Ambassador Salesforce Package released on 3/31/25
    This release includes a new "Package" button that allows users to enroll a contact as an ambassador, assign a segment, and optionally trigger a welcome email.
