Admin 2: Overview of What's New

Learn about the key updates found in the new Ambassador Admin app.

What's new:

Earlier this year, we began a gradual beta rollout of new versions of our Ambassador Admin app and Portal app. Last month we announced the new Portal 2, and now we’re excited to open the Admin 2 for you to begin benefiting from all of the exciting updates!

On October 1, you will be automatically directed to the new Admin 2 app upon login. To access it early, simply click the “Preview New Admin” button in your Dashboard or go to https://admin2.getambassador.com and enter your same username and password. For the time being, you will be able to toggle back to the legacy Admin as needed.

Here are key highlights of what’s new in Admin 2.0:

  • Rebuilt on new technology so that we can iterate quickly and continue building the best-in-class product.

  • Referral section with Dashboard, Campaigns, Commissions, Share Links
    The legacy menu options for Dashboard, Campaigns, Commissions, and Share Links are now grouped under a new section for Referral.

  • Loyalty: Customer & Ambassador Engagement
    A new module (available with an upgrade) to build a customer engagement program. Learn more about Loyalty.

  • Rewards
    A new menu section to monitor and manage your reward activity with a rewards Dashboard, and Settings coming soon. Learn more about Rewards.

  • Contact & Commission Management Improvements
    It’s now easier to manage your contact & commission data with the below enhancements.

    • New data tables that allow you to show/hide your preferred data columns.

    • Ability to delete contacts individually or with a CSV import.

    • Ability to update commissions individually or with a CSV import.

    • A new button to reverse the status of a Denied commission

    • Commissions paid as “Manual” can now be moved back to Unpaid status.

    • Ability to delete commissions.

  • Enhanced Portal Customizations
    More ways to customize the Portal Registration form and experience with custom background colors, dark mode vs. light mode, support for PDF and multimedia Assets, custom tabs to iframe lead forms and more.

  • Portal Reward Catalog & Redemption Experience for Loyalty and Referral
    Enable one or more rewards in the Portal Rewards catalog then issue loyalty points and/or payout referral commissions as cash value or points that the ambassador can redeem directly in their Portal account. Use Portal Rewards to give participants their choice of a reward with the added benefit of bringing them into the Portal to engage more with the program resources like their referral link or share module, program assets, and Loyalty features (if upgraded). Please Note: As with all technology, the new Admin 2 and Portal 2 are a work in progress as we continue releasing exciting enhancements and modules. We have QA and testing processes in place, but you may still experience an unknown bug.
